Poręba Żegoty [pɔˈrɛmba ʐɛˈɡɔtɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Alwernia, within Chrzanów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Alwernia, 15 km (9 mi) south-east of Chrzanów, and 27 km (17 mi) west of the regional capital Kraków.[1]

The village has a population of 1,115.
