Poron S.A., formerly Etablissements Poron, of Troyes, was a French knitting machinery company founded in 1816.[1][2] The head office of Poron was located at 33 avenue des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance, while the bonneterie Poron was located on rue Suchetet at Vendeuvre-sur-Barse.

Per David Burgess Wise, The New Illustrated Encyclopedia of Automobiles Poron manufactured an automobile only in 1898. It was a rear-engined opposed-piston "motorcycle" with friction-drive and tiller steering.
