Porsha Olayiwola

Porsha Olayiwola is an American poet.[1][2] In 2019 she was appointed the Poet laureate of Boston.[3][4] Her first poetry collection, i shimmer sometimes, too was released in 2019.[4][5] In 2020 her work was included in the exhibition Women Take the Floor at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.[6][7]

She is the 2014 individual World Poetry Slam champion and the 2015 National Poetry Slam champion.[8][2]
