Poupelle of Chimney Town (Japanese: 映画 えんとつ町のプペル, Hepburn: Entotsu-machi no Poupelle) is a 2020 Japanese animated children 's fantasy film animated by Studio 4°C, directed by Yusuke Hirota, featuring character designs by Atsuko Fukushima.[1][2]

Production[]
The film is based on a picture book authored by Japanese actor and comedian, Akihiro Nishino, whom also wrote the film's screenplay and was the film's executive producer.[3] The film premiered in Japan on December 25, 2020 and is set to premier worldwide in 2021. The opening three minutes is currently being streamed online with English subtitles.[4]
