Premier Stores Limited is a symbol group owned by Tesco Plc.

History[]

Premier Store in Greenlaw, Scotland

Premier is a symbol group in the United Kingdom with over 3,000 shops nationwide. All Premier shops are chain-store owned and run by retailers at a percentage every month and are generally convenience shops, stocking branded and own brand products, such as Euro Shopper[1][2][3] and Happy Shopper.[4][5]

Premier stores can be part of a group of shops in the same area, with the same group name on each store. Some premier stores include a post office and operate as a village's post office.

Tesco took ownership of the brand in the year of 2018 after the merger with Booker Group.[6]
