Prende TV is a streaming service owned by TelevisaUnivision.[1][2][3] The service primarily shows content from Televisa and other third-party content providers, including television series, movies, and sports programming. The streaming service launched on March 30, 2021.[4][5]

History[]

On January 13, 2021, Univision said that Prende TV would be launched in the first quarter of 2021.[6][7][8] On March 30, 2021, Univision launched their ad-free premium streaming service.[9] On May 3, 2021, Univision announced that it had acquired the television rights for Euro Cup 2020 for Prende TV and TUDN and Univision also acquired rights for Brazilian and Argentine leagues.[10][11][12][13] TelevisaUnivision will launch a new streaming service by bringing together Prende TV, Vix, Univision Now, and Blim under one name in 2022.[14]

Programing[]

Prende TV's programing includes classic TV, documentaries, television series, films, and sports programming and telenovelas from Televisa's telenovela library.[15][16]
