Pretoria Ring Road

The Pretoria Ring Road also known as the Pretoria Bypass, is a collection of two bypasses that together form a partial ring road around the city of Pretoria, South Africa. [1]

Route[]

The Route forms mainly of the N1, N14 and R80. The main one being the N1 Eastern Bypass, linking Pretoria to Johannesburg in the south and Polokwane in the north. [2]

The second part of the ring road is the formed by the N4 Northern Bypass, linking Pretoria to Rustenburg in the west and Witbank in the east.

The third part of the ring road is formed by the R80 that links Pretoria North with the CBD. The Fourth Part of the ring road consists on the N14 highway that connects the south end of the CBD with Hennopspark. To complete the ring road, the current R80 will have to be upgraded and need to connect to the N14. [3]

To Get to the Pretoria CBD, you can use the N4 or N14, with other metropolitan routes that connect to the city
