Princess Anui (Korean안의공주; Hanja安懿公主) was a Goryeo woman who become the Korean Royal Family member in the Early Joseon Dynasty periods as the only daughter of Ikjo of Joseon and Queen Jeongsuk.[2] She was the little sister of Dojo of Joseon and became the paternal grandaunt of Taejo of Joseon.[3]

In 1392, when Joseon dynasty was established, her parents, as the great-grandfather of Taejo of Joseon, become formally called as King (왕, 王; Wang) and Queen (왕비, 王妃; Wangbi)[4] and in 1411, they posthumously honoured as King Ikjo and Queen Jeongsuk.[5] Because of this, as a daughter of the King and Queen, she later become a Princess and posthumously honoured as Princess Anui (안의공주, 安懿公主) in 15 April 1901 (5th year reign of Emperor Gwangmu of Korea).[6]

The Princess later married with Ju-Dan (주단), the son of Ju In-Hwan (주인환)[7] of the Neungseong Ju clan (능성 주씨) and then bore him a son, Ju-Hu (주후). Meanwhile, their descendants continued to live in Yeongheung, Hamgyeong-do, Korea (nowadays is Geumya-gun, Hamgyeongnam-do).[citation needed][8]
