Princess Jeonghwa (Hangul: 정화택주, Hanja: 靜和宅主), personal name was Wang Do-in (Hangul: 왕도인, Hanja: 王道人) was a Korean Royal Princess as the daughter of Gangjong of Goryeo and the second wife of Choe Chung-heon.[2] According to Goryeosa, her existence can be confirmed by the record "Choi Chung-Heon accepted King Gangjong's naughty daughter as his second wife", but there was no record about her mother.[3]

After married, Wang then received her title as Taekju (택주, 宅主) in January 1214 who could only be used for princesses and for her husband's other wife, who was not a princess like her, just gain the title as Suseongtaekju (수성택주, 綏成宅主).[2] She was a devout Buddhist and devotedly practiced meditation since her life had so much trouble. Although she was the King's daughter, but she didn't recognized or treated like that due to her mother's status. Her father, King Gangjong, must spent years of hardship since got expelled from Ganghwa-do, until his re-established as king by Choe Chung-heon own in 1211, at his 60-years-old. Knowing that the fearsome Choe was her family's enemy, she is forced to married him whom 3 years older than Gangjong. After married, she lived with the pain of her father and grandfather, and a husband who wields uncontrollable power and an attempt to kill her. This was reason why she devout to Buddhist and after Choe's death, she still continued to practice the meditation, became a nun and returned to Buddhism.
