Princeton Light and Power Company, Ltd. (PLP) was a small electric utility in the Similkameen region of British Columbia, Canada. It started operations in March 1922. PLP was acquired by Fortis Inc. on 31 May 2005 and its assets merged into FortisBC on 1 January 2007.[1][2]

FortisBC’s assets include the electric utility formerly owned by Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (the "PLP Utility")... The PLP Utility was purchased by Fortis through an indirect subsidiary on May 31, 2005 and became part of FortisBC on January 1, 2007 as the result of an internal corporate reorganization.
