Privé Jets is an American privately owned company that provides private air charter and jet card programs.[1]

The company provides access to over 7,000 aircraft in its network and to over 4,000 airports worldwide.[2][3] In 2012, Privé Jets was named to the Inc. 5000 for the first time.[4] As of 2017, the company had made the list for six consecutive years. [5]

The company has existed for 14 years. It provides private charter flights to government officials. They also offer private air charter to multinational corporations and large group charter for touring events and sports teams.[3][6][7]

Business Model[]

Privé Jets’ business model is focused around managing logistics and matching client needs. The unique business model allows the highest level service to be offered at the lowest possible market rates. They offer access to corporate and business jets, VIP Airliners, helicopters, and air ambulances that are serviced through either on-demand service or jet card programs. [9][10]

Destinations[]

The company operates and provides service to more than 20,000 destinations worldwide, with a stronger focus on the North American, LATAM, European and the Middle East markets. [7]

Company History[]

In 2010, it launched the Jet Setter Program to provide air charter service with a more convenient booking process.  In 2011, Privé Jets was selected as the official air charter provider for the Bancolombia Exhibition Match and transported Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic to Colombia for the event. [2][11][12] Privé Jets is a member, and the longest lasting private air charter provider, for the exclusive luxury travel consortium, Virtuoso.[3][13] In 2018, it launched Customized Jet Cards, a new jet card product that provides users fixed-hourly rates and guaranteed availability based on their specific travel needs. Privé Jets has access to over 7,000 aircraft and 50,000 airports worldwide.[2][15] In 2010, it launched the Jet Setter Program to provide charter services.[1][16] Privé Jets partnered with the Forest Travel Agency.[9][17] In 2011, Privé Jets was selected as the official charter for the Bancolombia Exhibition Match and transported Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic to Colombia for the event.[2][11][12] Privé Jets is a member of Virtuoso.[13] In 2018, it launched Custom Jet Cards, a new type of jet card product that provides users fixed rates and guaranteed availability based on their specific flying needs.[14]

In 2011, Privé Jets ranked #547 on the Inc. 5000 list of America's Fastest-Growing Companies.[8][18] It also was ranked #12 on the Inc. Logistics and Transportation list.[19] In 2012, Prive Jets ranked #665 on the Inc. 5000 list.[4][15] In 2012, Privé Jets was nominated for World Travel Award's North American Leading Private Jet Charter.[20] In January 2019, Prive Jets was named North America's Leading Private Jet Charter by the World Travel Awards for the fourth time and second consecutive year.[21]

Privé Jets ensures safety standards. They are audited and comply with ARGUS and Wyvern, the two leading aviation safety audits. [3][6]

Some of Privé Jets’ clients also include royal family members, state heads, and celebrities. [6]The company also facilitates corporate clients with private business aviation and travel for fortune 500 companies. [3]

Controversies[]

In October 2015, movie stars Kate del Castillo and Sean Penn chartered a private jet from Van Nuys, California to Guadalajara, Mexico, where they were picked up by drug lord Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán’s crew and were taken to an undisclosed location to meet with El Chapo. Privé Jets was the provider of their international flight. [26]
