Prusiek [ˈpruɕek] (Ukrainian: Прусік, Prusik) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sanok, within Sanok County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Sanok and 57 km (35 mi) south of the regional capital Rzeszów.

The village has a population of 700.

18 February 1846 - beginning of the Galician peasant revolt.
