Pushkarasarin
Ruler of Gandhara

Pushkarasarin also known as Pukkusati was a ruler of Gandhara. He was contemporary to Bimbisara of Magadha,[1] with whom he engaged in diplomacy,[2] and with Pradyota of Avanti,[1] against whom he waged war.[2]

Pushkarasarin renounced his throne and became a Buddhist monk.[3] Gandhara was conquered by the Persian Achaemenid Empire shortly after.[2]
