Pyrgotis humilis is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is endemic to New Zealand.^[2] This species was first described by Alfred Philpott in 1930 from a specimen collected by on Mount Maungatua in Otago.^[3]^[4]

The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are bright ochreous, suffused with purplish fuscous towards the termen. The hindwings are fuscous. Adults have been recorded in December.^[3]
