Queens of Camo, also referred to as QoC, is a Television Series and social movement that follows women hunters on their hunting adventures and expeditions. The show focuses on the importance of educating the public on the unique issues surrounding women who hunt and is featured on , , and . Queens of Camo features and includes women that refer to themselves as "Queens" and "huntresses" from over 40 countries around the globe.^[1]

The series was created by Prestigious Films in Wichita, Kansas by filmmaker Nicholas Barton,^[2] who himself has been a lifelong outdoorsman, going on his first hunt with his father at 15 months old. His parents, Richard and Lisa Barton, are the owners of Hunter's Dream Guide Service just outside of Great Bend, KS. The central offices of the show have now been placed in Bedford, Texas, a suburb of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, to be closer to their core fan base.

Twice a year, Queens of Camo puts out a calendar, featuring women hunters from all over the world, who submit their outdoor photos and are selected by online votes.^[3]

Their largest demographic is in the United States followed by Canada with Australian Huntresses coming in 3rd. The cities with the largest contingents are Dallas, Wichita, and Houston.

Various anti-hunting and animal-rights activists have been strong critics of the movement, arguing that hunting is an unethical practice. Show director Nicholas Barton, has been quite vocal about how he feels, "Hunting is an ethical alternative to conventional large-scale livestock farms, where the majority of the United States get their meat. The animals harvested lead full, enriching, and free lives. Part of a balanced diet includes the consumption of animal-based proteins and wild game offers some of the nutrient-rich options available."
