Rémi Mulumba (born 2 November 1992) is a Congolese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Châteauroux. He is a France youth international having earned caps at under-17, under-18, and under-19 level.[1] In August 2015, he decided to represent DR Congo and received his first call-up in September 2015 in a game against the Central African Republic.

Career[]

Mulumba was born in Abbeville. He joined Amiens in 2006 and made his debut for the club on 7 May 2010 in a league match against Bayonne.[2] On 12 July 2010, Mulumba signed a three-year professional contract with FC Lorient.[3][4]

On 20 August 2019, he signed a two-year contract with Châteauroux.[5]

Personal life[]

Mulumba is the son of former football player Albert Mulumba, a former player of SC Abbeville, whom the younger Mulumba began his career with.[6]
