Radio Kawsachun Coca

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Radio Kawsachun Coca, also known as RKC and by its English channel name Kawsachun News, is a Bolivian online and radio news network. It was founded on November 7, 2007 and focuses on Latin American politics with a Pro-socialism editorial take. It has both English and Spanish language channels.

Criticism[]

The network was criticized by Bolivian Minister of Communication , who in January 2020 said the network was broadcasting propaganda primarily for groups supporting the Movement Toward Socialism party and former President of Bolivia Evo Morales.[1] Morales used the network to call for the formation of armed militias "as in Venezuela" within the country after the political conflict that resulted in his resignation from office.[2] Lizárraga called for the Ministry of Justice to investigate.
