Radio Nacional del Paraguay

Radio Nacional del Paraguay (National Radio of Paraguay) is the official, state-run, international broadcaster of Paraguay.[1] Founded in the 1940s, around 2005 it stopped transmitting on Short Wave[2] and currently reaches its international audience exclusively through the internet. In Asunción it broadcasts on Medium Wave AM station ZP1 on 920 kHz with a power of 100,000 watts,[3] as well as on FM station ZPV1, on 95.1 MHz.[4] Programs are in Spanish and in the Guarani language. The stations air different programming.[5]
