Rahul Kohli (born 13 November 1985) is a British actor. He is best known for playing Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in the television series iZombie and Owen Sharma in The Haunting of Bly Manor, and for his guest appearances on the gaming channel Funhaus.

Early life[]

Rahul Kohli was born in London, England, to Punjabi Hindu parents of Indian heritage. His grandparents were from India, and his father spent his early years in Kenya while his mother was raised in Thailand.[1][2] In 2019, he revealed that he was a victim of sexual abuse as a child.[3]

Career[]

Kohli was cast in a lead role in the television series, iZombie (2015–2019), as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti.[4] He appeared in all 71 episodes of the show. Other notable credits include the 2018 film, Happy Anniversary;[5] Supergirl (2017–19);[6][7] and the animated TV series, Harley Quinn (2019–2020). Kohli also starred as Owen Sharma in the Netflix horror drama series, The Haunting of Bly Manor.[8]

Personal life[]

Kohli is an active Twitter user and an avid gamer.[4] He is a supporter of Liverpool F.C.[9]

In July 2018, he announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Yasmin Molloy.[10]
