Ramón Jesurún Franco[3] (other spelling: Ramón Jesurún, born in Barranquilla, Colombia on 30 November 1952) is a Colombian football official.[4]

He is the current 1st Vice President of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL).[5] In addition to that, since November 2015, he has been the President of the Colombian Football Federation (FCF).[6]

Prior to this, from 2006 to 2015, he served as President of the Colombian Dimayor, which runs Colombian professional football.

Since 2016, he has been a member of the FIFA Council.[7]

Jesurún is currently under investigation for money laundering[8] and will likely come under investigation over the suspicious sale/scalping of gameday tickets[9]. The Federation has already had to pay a fine of USD$4.6 million as part of the sale/resale of tickets. These investigations come after the failed presidency, criminal behavior and subsequent incarceration of his predecessor Luis Bedoya[10]. Jesurún is also under suspicion of aiding and abetting Bedoya.

The aforementioned investigations, as well as the extremely poor performance of the Colombian National Team under his tenure[11], are all reasons why the followers of the Colombian National Team consider him as a highly corrupt individual and an incompetent head of the soccer development program in his home country[12].
