Ram Raheem is a 1974 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by K. R. V. Prasad Rao under the Raja Lakshmi Combines banner and directed by B. A. Subba Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nandamuri Harikrishna and music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao.[3][4]
Plot[]
Ram (Nandamuri Balakrishna) & Raheem (Nandamuri Harikrishna) are close friends studying in the same school. Ram's father Rajaiah (Satyanarayana) is a lorry driver, a drunkard, gambler, and does not care about the family. Ram's mother Laxmi (Shavukar Janaki) works in few houses as a maid and takes care of the house. Rajaiah always beats her and their children. Moreover, his mother (Nirmalamma) always nags Lakshmi. Due to this Ram always gets perturbed when Raheem consoles and encourages him. Rahim's father Inspector Khan is a strict Police officer (Prabhakar Reddy). He lives happily with his wife and son Rahim. Ram always compares his family with Rahim's and feels depressed. When Ram asks his father about the school fee Rajaiah asks him to stop education, pull a rickshaw for livelihood, and do so. Once Ram's younger brother falls sick Ram gives Rajaiah money to get medicine but he drinks and plays cards with that amount and unfortunately the boy dies. Frustrated Laxmi attempts suicide and is rescued by Ram & Raheem. Then Ram pledges to her mother that he will set right the family and Raheem promise his support for his owe. How Ram and Raheem achieve this?
