Ranya Mordanova (Russian: Раня Морданова; born Raniya Ramilevna Mordanova on July 18, 1991)[2] is a Russian fashion model.

Career[]

Ranya Mordanova was born in Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia.[2] For 20 years she has made a successful career as a top model.

In February 2009, she debuted at the Monique Lhuillier fall/winter fashion show in New York. In the same season, she walked for Adam Lippes, Betsey Johnson, Tuleh. The real breakthrough in her career happened in March 2009, when she took part in the Paris shows of Givenchy and Louis Vuitton. She also walked for Anna Sui, Burberry, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Gianfranco Ferré, Helmut Lang, Hermès, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Versace and many other fashion houses.

She soon became one of the faces of Givenchy fall/winter 2009 campaign alongside Adriana Lima, Iris Strubegger, and Mariacarla Boscono for its advertising campaign shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.[3]

Mordanova has appeared on the covers of fashion magazines V, Frech Revue de Modes, Tush, Elle Russia, Marie Claire Italia, NakedButSafe magazine. She had also appeared in editorials of magazines Vogue Paris, Vogue Italia, Vogue Russia, Vogue Turkey, Elle, Marie Claire, LOVE Magazine, W Magazine, Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused, POP Magazine, Scandinavia SSAW Magazine, and other.
