Rao Ruda Singh

Ruda Singh was a states man a Yadav/Ahir who settled in jungle near Rewari in 1555 from the Mughal Emperor Humayun for rendering meritorious services during the later's encounter with the Sur Empire.[1][2] Ruda Singh had his headquarters located at 12 km south-east of Rewari.[citation needed] He cleared the jungle and founded new villages.[3]
