Ras al Hadd Airport (ICAO: OORH) is a new airport in Ash Sharqiyah Region of Oman, about 30 km south of the town of Ras al Hadd.[2] Construction began in 2011,[3] and was completed December, 2018.[4]
The airport is 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) inland from the Arabian Sea coast. Runway length does not include 120 metres (390 ft) displaced thresholds on each end. The Sur VOR-DME (Ident: SUR) is located 22.1 nautical miles (41 km) northwest of the airport.[5]
