Ratha Saradhi (transl. Charioteer) is a 1993 Indian Telugu-language action film, produced by Buragapalli Subba Rao under the Sri Sai Prasanna Pictures banner[1] and directed by Sarath.[2] It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Vinod Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Suhasini[3] and music composed by Raj-Koti.[4]

Plot[]

The film begins on Bapineedu (Satyanarayana) a malicious, forges himself as a respectable person, performs felonious deeds in the society, along with his two sons Ankineedu (Devan) & Ramineedu (Srikanth). During that dreadful situation, a new Collector Raja Shekaram (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) a stickler for law & order arrives and hinders their activities when to thwart they bid to bribe him but fail. Once Raja Shekaram gets acquainted with a frustrated unemployed youth Pardha Saradhi (Vinod Kumar) and helps him to get a taxi. There onwards, Pardha Saradhi becomes convenient to Raja Shekaram also takes care of his daughter Anjali (Anjali) as a sister. Parallelly as a glimpse, he falls for a beautiful girl Rekha (Raveena Tandon). Meanwhile, Raja Shekaram gathers the pieces of evidence against Bapineedu & gang when they seek to crush him. At that point in time, he is rescued by his ex-lover Dr. Shakuntala (Suhasini) who lives alone as she still persists love on Raja Shekaram. Thereafter, Ramineedu molests & kills Anjali and acquits from the judiciary with fake alibis. Right now, enraged Raja Shekaram resigns and takes his avenge by eliminating the baddies with the help of Pardha Saradhi. Finally, Raja Shekaram couples up Pardha Saradhi & Rekha and continues his journey with Shakuntala.
