Ray Tindle
Sir Ray Stanley Tindle CBE DL (born 8 October 1926) is a British newspaper and radio-station entrepreneur. He founded the Tindle Newspaper Group and the Tindle Radio Group.
After wartime service with the Devonshire Regiment, he bought his first title, the with his £250 demob payment.[1]
He was appointed a CBE in the 1987 Birthday Honours and knighted in 1994 for services to the newspaper industry.[1][2]
