Red Kite (initiated in 2014 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian prog-jazz band.[1]

Biography[]

Red Kite is a band comprising some of the foremost Norwegian musicians in genres of jazz, prog, impro and rock. The band members arises from well known bands like Shining, Elephant9, Bushman's Revenge and Grand General. This is a band somewhere between psychedelic 1970's rock and experimental jazz. They have found a new, energetic musical expression infused with visceral grooves and roaring fuzz guitar.[2] The band appeared at 2016 Vossajazz, and had a solid performance there and at the 2016 Nattjazz.
