Reflections: Carly Simon's Greatest Hits is the fourth greatest hits album by American singer-songwriter Carly Simon, released in 2004.

Containing 20 tracks and nearly 80 minutes of music, Reflections compiles 19 of Simon's biggest hits presented roughly in chronological order, ranging from her self-titled debut album, Carly Simon (1971), through Letters Never Sent (1994). The compilation concludes with the bonus track "Amity", a duet with her daughter Sally Taylor, from the soundtrack album to the film Anywhere but Here (1999).

An international version of the album was released later that same year, mainly for the UK market. It consists of a different mix of songs, and includes the 1982 single, "Why" from the Soup For One soundtrack, a Top 10 hit in the UK. While also containing 20 tracks, the international version does not run in chronological order like the North American version.

Reception[]

Reflections: Carly Simon’s Greatest Hits was critically praised upon release as a satisfying overview of Simon's extensive catalog, with AllMusic awarding the album a 4+12-stars-out-of-5 rating. The album was also a huge commercial success, peaking at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 (Simon's first Top 40 release on this chart since Coming Around Again in 1987), and remaining on the chart for 19 weeks.[2]

On March 2, 2007, Reflections was certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States alone.[3] The international version of the album was also very successful, peaking at No. 25 in the UK, and going Gold there as well.[4]
