Reinhard Loske is a German academic and politician of Alliance 90/The Greens.
He studied economics and political science at the University of Paderborn, the University of Nottingham and the University of Bonn.[1] Loske earned an Ph.D from University of Kassel and got habiltated by Otto-Suhr-Institut of Free University of Berlin in 1999.[1]
He worked as researcher at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy (1992–1998)[2] and Institut für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (1990–1991).[3] He wrote a number of books as well.[3] From 1998 to 2007 he was member of the Bundestag.[1][failed verification] From 2007 to 2011 he was the Senator for Environment, Housing, Transport and Europe of Bremen.[4][failed verification]
From April 2013 to March 2019 he was Professor for Politics, Sustainability and Transformation dynamics at the University of Witten-Herdecke. He served as the president of Cusanus Hochschule in Bernkastel-Kues as well Professor for Sustainability and Society-dynamics from 1 April 2019 to 30 September 2021.[5]
