Reinhard Wolschina

Reinhard Wolschina (born 31 August 1952) is a German composer.

Life[]

Born in Leipzig, Wolschina attended the  [de] from 1967. Afterwards he studied composition with  [de] and piano with Volkmar Lehmann at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt, Weimar. From 1982 to 1984, he was a master student with Günter Kochan at the Academy of Arts, Berlin.[1][2][3]

In 1992, he became professor for composition and music theory in Weimar. There, he was the director of the Studio for Neue Musik. His students included , , Peter Helmut Lang and . He has worked among others with Roswitha Trexler and Giora Feidman. Wolschina is a member of the trio "pianOVo".[4][5][6]
