Reinickendorf (German pronunciation: [ˈʁaɪ̯nɪkn̩ˌdɔʁf] (listen)) is the twelfth borough of Berlin. It encompasses the northwest of the city area, including the Berlin Tegel Airport, Lake Tegel, spacious settlements of detached houses as well as housing estates like Märkisches Viertel.
