Rhadinoloricaria macromystax is a species of catfish in the genus Rhadinoloricaria.^[1] The species was formerly the only member of the genus; however in 2020 a new species, , was described.^[2]

This species is native to Ecuador and Peru where it occurs upper Amazon and Orinoco River basins, Essequibo, and Tocantins drainages. P. menezesiis known to occur over sandy substrates. P. menezesi reaches a length of 14.2 centimetres (5.6 in) SL.^[3] This fish species is relatively unknown and uncommon in museum collections; also, ecological and behavioral data is unavailable for this species.
