Rhonda Louise Galbally AC (born 1948) is an Australian health development, social services and disability rights advocate. She serves on the board of the National Disability Insurance Agency. On 4 April 2019 Galbally was appointed to serve as a commissioner on the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.[1][2]
Honours and awards[]
In 1991 Galbally was appointed an Officer (AO) of the Order of Australia. She has received honorary doctorates from RMIT University in and La Trobe University, and was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2001.[3]
In 2019 Galbally was appointed a Companion (AC) of the Order of Australia.[4]
