Robert de Beaumont, Count of Meulan

Robert de Beaumont, Count of Meulan (c. 1142 – 1204,[1] Poitiers, France), was the son of Waleran IV de Beaumont[2] and .

Family and children[]

Around 1165 Robert married Maud FitzRoy, daughter of Reginald de Dunstanville, 1st Earl of Cornwall and Beatrice FitzRichard.[3] They had:

  1. Mable de Beaumont, married William de Redvers, 5th Earl of Devon.
  2. Galeran V de Beaumont, Count of Meulan, married Margaret de Fougeres[3]
  3. Pierre of Meulan
  4. Henri of Meulan
  5. Agnes of Meulan, married Guy de la Roche Guyon V in 1192.
  6. Dame Jeanne of Meulan, married .
