Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is a tower defense racing video game developed by ACE Team and published by Modus Games. The game is the sequel to the 2011 Rock of Ages and the 2017 Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder, and was released in July 21, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
Gameplay[]
Players must build their boulders, and roll them into the enemy gates as fast as possible, eventually breaking through and squish everything. This simple task is made more difficult by both sides' ability to pepper each other's lanes with traps, obstacles, and defenses. Unlike the last two, this sequel allows players to make various courses and break them in competition.
Development[]
In August 15, 2019, another sequel to Rock of Ages was announced by ACE Team, yet instead of Altus, the company partnered with Giant Monkey Robot and Modus Games with the title releasing in 2020.[1][2][3]

According to review aggregator Metacritic, the game received "mixed or average reviews" from critics.[13][14][15][16][17]
GameSpot praised the game's course editor, trials, traversal, story, and tone, while criticizing its frustrating gameplay, easy challenges, incapable AI, and unfair death toll. Nintendo Life lauded the game's visual style, energetic cutscenes, soundtrack, and performance, while criticizing the subpar graphics and illegible UI text. Push Square deemed the gameplay, multiplayer, and story mode to be fun while finding the course editor, presentation, and community level menu to be rough edges that weren't up to par.
