Rohit Suchanti (born 6 April 1996) is an Indian television actor who portrayed Ratan Singh in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya and participated in Bigg Boss 12.[1][2] He currently plays the lead role of Rishi Oberoi in Ekta Kapoor's Bhagya Lakshmi on Zee TV .[3]

Early life[]

Rohit Suchanti was born on 6 April 1996 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Sandeep Suchanti and Rajini Suchanti. He has a brother, Shobit Suchanti. He was first enrolled at Step by Step School, Shillong and later at Navi Mumbai High School, Mumbai. He completed his schooling from Baldwin Boys High School, Bengaluru. He hails from upper-class family background with roots in Jaipur.[4]

Career[]

Rohit Suchanti made his debut as Rohit Agarwal in MTV India's Warrior High in 2015.

In early 2017, he played Ramakant (Ricky) Modi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus.[5][6] Then he played Jai in ALTBalaji's Class of 2017.[7] In September 2017, he joined Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya playing Ratan Maan Singh on Sony TV.[8] In October 2018, he joined Bigg Boss 12 as the second wildcard entry,[9] he got evicted on 14 December 2018. In 2019, he played Anshuman Sharma in Zee TV's Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai.[10][11]

Currently, Suchanti is playing the role of Rishi Oberoi in the show titled Bhagya Lakshmi opposite Aishwarya Khare .
