Rohitha Rajapaksa (born 15 June 1989) is a Sri Lankan cricketer, rugby player and the youngest son of Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.[1][2] He made his List A cricket debut on 27 October 2021, for Kalutara Town Club in the 2021–22 Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament.[3][4] However, on his debut, Rajapaksha was dismissed for a golden duck.[5][6] Prior to his debut, Rajapaksha had denied reports that he is playing domestic cricket to qualify for an administration role with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC),[7] and to play in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).[8] Rajapaksa played in three matches in the Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament, scoring a total of five runs at an average of 1.66.[9]
