Roland Piquepaille

Roland Piquepaille (18 October 1946 – 6 January 2009) was a technology writer, both for ZDNet[1] and for his own blog, Roland Piquepaille's Technology Trends,[2] and a former software engineer at Silicon Graphics and Cray Research.[3] He was a frequent contributor to Slashdot and well-known for his focus on how new technologies modify life.[4]

He died in Paris, France, on 6 January 2009,[5] of complications related to an enterococcal bacteria infection.[6]
