Roman Cieślak

Roman Sławomir Cieślak is a psychologist and associate professor at the SWPS University, in 2016 elected for the post of the rector of the SWPS University.[1]

He earned his first undergraduate degree from Warsaw University. In 1990 he was awarded the title of professor of humanities. Joined Central Institute for Labor Protection and in 2000 received his Ph.D. from Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He did his postdoctoral work at University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, where he worked as Director for Research and Senior Statistical and Content Expert Consultant of the Trauma, Health & Hazards Center (THHC), collaborating with Dr. Chip Benight.[2]

Awards[]

In 2011 Roman Cieślak was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.[3]
