Rose Hill cemetery

Rose Hill Cemetery is located in Oxford, England. It was opened in 1889 and has more than 20,000 burials. It covers over 11 acres (45,000 m²) and has a Victorian chapel. The cemetery is closed to new burials.^[1] Rose Hill is one of four large Victorian cemeteries in Oxford.

Edward Brooks (1883–1944), recipient of the Victoria Cross in World War I, is buried in Rose Hill.^[2]
