Paul Jeffrey Ross[2] (born 20 September 1958), known by the pseudonym Ross Jeffries,[3] is an American author and pick-up artist.

Ross Jeffries is considered the godfather of the modern-day seduction community.[4][3]

Career[]

1988 he started to study seduction as way to self improve.[5]

In the late 1980s, Ross Jeffries taught workshops, promoted a collection of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) techniques called "speed seduction".[5][6]

In 1992, he was on the WHAT DO MEN THINK OF WOMEN on NBCs Faith Daniels.[7] With an all female audiences.[8]

Jeffries has been featured on The Dr. Phil Show, The Montel Williams Show, The Jane Whitney Show and The Daily Show, and a self-described speed seduction expert.[1][9][10]

In 2000 Ross Jeffries sued John White (also known as Don Steele) alleging invasion of privacy, business interference, slander and libel.[1]

In 2005, he was one of the people that Neil Strauss wrote about in his book The game. As the mentor to Mystery and Neil Strauss. Neil Shadowed Ross, when he was writing The game.[3]

Jeffries was profiled on Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends.[11][12][13]

Tom Cruise's character in the film Magnolia was inspired by Jeffries according to the film's writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson.[14][15][16] Jeffries is Jewish.[3]
