Rune B. Johansson

Rune B. Johansson (1915–1982) was a Swedish politician who was a member of the Social Democratic Party. He served as minister of interior (1957–1962) and minister of industry (1971–1976).

Biography[]

Johansson was born in Ljungby in 1915.[1][2] He started his political career when he joined the youth movement of the Social Democratic Party and then, became part of the county council.[2] He was the minister of interior in the period 1957–1962 in the cabinet led by Tage Erlander.[3][2] He also served as the minister of industry from 1971 to 1976.[3] He was the coauthor of a book entitled SABO-företagen i den nya bostadspolitiken which was published in 1967.[1] He died in 1982.[1]
