Rusli Noor (born 1 May 1927)[1] of Indonesia, was secretary general of ASEAN from 1989 to 1993.[2] He also served as Executive Director of the APEC secretariat in 1994.[3] He earned an MA in political science from Columbia University.[citation needed] He served as Indonesia's ambassador to Norway and Denmark.[4]
