Rut (pronounced [ˈɾuːt]; formerly Nemški Rut[3] or Nemška Koritnica,[4] German: Deutschruth,[3] Italian: Rutte di Gracova[5]) is a village north of Koritnica in the Municipality of Tolmin in the Littoral region of Slovenia.[6]

The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Lambert and belongs to the Koper Diocese. It had been an exclave of German speakers, to which the former name refers.[7]
