Ryoichi Taguchi (田口 良一, Taguchi Ryōichi, born 1 December 1986) is a Japanese former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2019. He was a unified light-flyweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 2014 to 2018 and the IBF and Ring magazine titles from 2017 to 2018.
Professional career[]
On 25 August 2013, Taguchi defended the Japanese light-flyweight title against Naoya Inoue, but lost via twelve-round unanimous decision.[1]
On 31 December 2014, Taguchi defeated Alberto Rossel via twelve-round unanimous decision to win the WBA light-flyweight title.[2]
