Sándor Gál (1 March 1933 – 15 May 2021) was a Hungarian chemical engineer, university professor. He was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research was in the field of engineering chemistry and analytical chemistry, including thermoanalysis and the study of high-temperature reactions in the solid and melt phases. Between 1988 and 1993 he was the dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology.[1][2]

Gál died on 15 May 2021, aged 88.[1]
