SLNS Ranaviru (Ranaviru, in Sinhalese: Warrior) was a Shanghai-class fast gun boat of the Sri Lanka Navy. The ship was sunk on 19 July 1996 when it was hit by two suicide crafts of the LTTE whilst protecting amphibious landing to relive the Sri Lanka Army base in Mullaitivu during the first battle of Mullaitivu.[1]
