Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei 2006 Chimbu Deven Vadivelu, Monica, Tejashree, Nassar Set in the early stages of the British Raj, Pulikecei XXIII is a foolish king, who effectively operates as a puppet of his uncle, the Chief Minister. Kalloori 2007 Balaji Sakthivel Tamannaah, Akhil, Hemalatha The depressed Shobana, who has recently lost her mother, joins a new college in rural Tamil Nadu. Arai En 305-il Kadavul 2008 Chimbu Deven Prakash Raj, Santhanam, Ganja Karuppu, Madhumitha, Jyothirmayi Two frustrated youngsters are visited by God, who displays his 'Galaxy Box' as the source of his power. The duo later decide to steal the Box to improve their own lives, effectively creating unanticipated havoc. [6]
Eeram 2009 Arivazhagan Venkatachalam Aadhi, Nandha, Sindhu Menon, Saranya Mohan A police officer, called to investigate his ex-girlfriend's supposed suicide, begins to suspect foul play and supernatural forces. Eerie events subsequently begin to take place through the medium of water, helping the police officer solve the mystery. [7]
Rettaisuzhi 2010 Thamira K. Balachander, Bharathiraja, Aari, Anjali An elderly village man who follows the principles of the Indian National Congress is constantly arguing with another elderly man who follows communism. Even their grandchildren form gangs to express their enmity, however a romance in the family changes the atmosphere. [8]
Anandhapurathu Veedu 2010 Naga Nandha, Chaya Singh, Aaryan Balaji A man returns to his hometown with his wife and son after 15 years and decides to stay in his ancestral home for a few days. They experience the presence of ghosts but cannot leave because the man is hiding from his lenders. [9]
