Sahab Singh Chauhan was a member of the legislative assembly of Delhi, representing the constituencies of Ghonda and Yamuna Vihar. He was an MLA of the Delhi Legislative Assembly for 5 consecutive terms.[1]

He represented Yamuna Vihar twice and Ghonda three times. He lost to Shri Dutt Sharma of the Aam Aadmi Party by around 8000 votes in the 2015 elections.[2]

He was a Member of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Fifth Legislative Assembly of Delhi|Fifth Legislative Assemblies of Delhi. He was President of the Ghonda Zone, B.J.P from 1981 to 1987, Secretary of the Shahdara district from 1988 to 1991, General Secretary of the North East Delhi district from 1991 to 1993, and Vice-President of the North East Delhi district.
