Sahak Sevada (Armenian: Սահակ Սևադա) was ruler of Gardman between 895-940. He was son and successor of Grigol Hamam.[1] His possessions covered Parisos, as well as the part of Utik-Gardman and Dzoraget.
Saak Sevada, married her daughter, Sahakanuysh to Armenian ruler Ashot II of Armenia. Another daughter Shahanduxt was married to the king of Syunik Smbat. Sahak aided King Ashot II in crushing the revolt by prince Moses of Utik,[2] however, as a result of political changes, Sahak sided with Smbat and revolted against Ashot II and declared independence. During the battle Sahak and his older son, Grigor were captured and blinded by Ashot. The other, son John Senekerim became the ruler of Hereti.
